Apology not accepted!! This rental location had absolutely no regard for my time and the guarantee they gave me.. I made reservations by phone for.a vehicle and told them twice my flight # and ETA. I would.land at 1am and by.the time I walked for my luggage and to Avis counter, it would be 1:30 to 1:45 am . Twice they said someone would be there waiting. Upon arriving at the counter at 1:40 am,security told me theyd left 20 mins ago. Totally disgusting service. So I was left with a $56.cab fare which.was not budgeted for. After this first experience with Avis,I will never..ever consider them again,even if it was free and I certainly WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone..I rented from another car rental that was 100 times better and cheaper. I wasnt informed about the windshield fee, it doesnt even show up on my agreement. Or maybe its referred to as the personal effects protection which I was never told about verbally; yet I was told about all the other charges if I dont fill up fuel before bringing the car back and the toll fee, which doesnt apply in alberta. I was given the whole patronizing sexist remark when I said something to the staff. I would never have accepted this fee had I been informed about it. they said it was a deal because I booked at the counter. How is that a deal? me paying an extra $90? I dont see it. totally unacceptable.

The staff at this location was very nice. Upon knowing it was my first visit, he provided a map and even told me what to expect when visiting Jasper and Banff National Parks. The facility was well lit even late at night and the drop off service was simple but the box where we were suppose to mark mileage and car ID (which may not have been necessary but I did it anyway) was very simple. Definitely satisfied and would rent again if price is right.

Wow, I see everyone else feels the same way about Avis. They charged me $29 Euros without sending me any documentation relating to a traffic violation, then they want to charge me $29 Euros again , this time sending me a traffic violation notice. What horrible customer service. AVIS Europe, United States, Canada, I dont care. IM NEVER renting from AVIS again, and strongly recommend you dont either. If I could give a ZERO I would.

The airport parking garage is under construction and signage is lacking, be ready for that. Do not accept the Veloster. I had never driven the car before and it is 100% blindspot on the drivers side. The fact that they offer this car for rental, and when I commented on how unsafe it was to drive the person at car return agreed they had received that comment many times, is the main reason for the just average review.
