Beware this dealership. In August while driving on the highway my back window exploded. Glass shattered all over my daughter and my dog. We were lucky and very thankful neither were hurt. The truck was only bought in November. There was no prior damage to the window and nothing hit us. The dealership took 3 weeks to tell me they couldnt do anything. Throughout I have not had my phone calls returned, rude service, and a general lack of interest in something that was obviously caused by a manufacturing defect. At one point I even heard one of the service guys talking about me in a negative way when he didnt realize the phone had picked up. The coverage on glass ran out by kilometres not time. I have been told that there is no way to prove it was a manufacturing error as I had remove the remainder of the broken glass so my kids didnt get cut. My word against theirs I am now going on 5 weeks with no back windshield as winter approaches and they havent been returning my calls on replacing the window on my dime. They have quoted me under 500 dollars but we will see if that happens. Most likely I will be taking it elsewhere at this point as I have gotten some better quotes. I have family and friends that work in glass, vehicles, and ford that are all horrifed by the treatment. One mechanic (that deals with mainly Ford parts)even told me that the shape of the vehicles often leaves Fords more susceptible to breakages on the windows. I have gone outside the dealership to Ford Canada but they were unable to help either. I have wanted a F150 for years now and was overjoyed to finally get one. This experience has however soured me from dealing with Ford in the future. I will say the sales staff is half decent and treats you well but if the dealership cant back up the product it sells they arent worth buying from. Its not like they have a returns desk! I have lived in Fort Saskatchewan most of my life and this is not the kind of business we support in our city lets make sure we show them.

August 11, I bring my mom in to purchase a new vehicle. I talked to the finance manager and made a deal that if my mom purchases a vehicle there that she gets her paint protection and mine done for a really good deal. They made an appointment for me to get my truck done on the 18th. Now its the night before and I get a call saying oh they cant do it because apparently their "guy" only knows how to do "fords" as I own a chev 2500. Ive had my 2012 Dodge Ram done at freedom Ford so now I know they are lying to me. Must have a pretty useless paint protection guy if he cant do all vehicles. The finance guy keeps telling me that he is going to figure something out and says I will call you. Well, now its Aug 24th 2 weeks later and have heard nothing back so I text him and now its not his problem and said ohh, the manager is calling around now??? All I hear is how awesome heartland Ford is, well I think its a gong show and totally avoid this place! I should have taken my mom to Sherwood Ford and got my referal, but I thought supporting my local Ford would have been better as my dad bought his truck there too. Maybe a bad review will make them come to realization that you cant lie to people!!!!

I bought my F150 in Fort Sask at Heartland Ford so I try to get all my services done there. I always like to support the city and its businesses where one lives. Reception is great, Service is good once booked, but getting through to them can be brutal. Just about each time I call I am put right through to service, (Excellent so I think.) Once someone answers, instead of Heartland Ford service how may I help you, it is usually can you hold please. Usually I do hold but sometimes one can be in a little hurry. Today I tried to book a regular service and once again I am put on hold, after waiting for a bit I conceded and hung up. Talking to my wife about my frustrations in trying to book an appointment I decided to try once again. Well same format, put directly through to service and once again can you hold please, I just gave up. I called Sherwood Ford and was put directly through to service. The response was Sherwood Ford service how can I help you? I felt like a winner finally I was able to book a service with a full tire rotation. I really like the Ford product but good service is everything. Sherwood Ford, see you soon.

Purchased 4 vehicles from them in the last few years. We added custom wheels and tires to our Focus (purchased at Heartland). Recently the car was broken into and everything inside stolen, including the lock for the wheel nuts. Called Heartland, was told sorry cant help you, youll have to have them all cutoff and replaced, no assistance, no looking into it, nothing! These cant be cutoff, they are recessed into the custom wheels, or do we cut the wheels off too? We purchased them from Heartland..... seriously? As it stands, cant remove the summer wheels and tires to install the winters without the lock and these summers are not designed for snow. Bought both sets from Heartland. Guess well keep searching wheel manufacturers and may as well find a better dealer while were at it. I have never been so disappointed with a company. After trying to deal with the dealership and getting nowhere I launched a regional complaint only to find out there is no such thing as customer service with this company. Everything about Ford is set up to protect FORD and not the customer. I warn anyone looking at buying a ford not to buy the Ford Escape. I have had nothing but problems with the vehicle not moving/driving while the engine is still running since the first day I drove it off the lot. I was assured from day 1 that it was not an issue until the vehicle completely quit with only 5000 Km on it and needed to have the transmission completely rebuilt. I have done online research only to find out this a VERY common issue with this vehicle. FORD is all too happy to take your money and leave you stuck with an untrustworthy lemon of a vehicle. I am completely appalled at the way my case was handled. Buyer beware!

My vehicle began to give me trouble when I had to leave Fort McMurray under mandatory evacuation due to the fires a number of days ago. I learned that I had some engine problems and was faced with a large bill at a very bad time that was not payable in full immediately. The company went out of their way to make a difficult situation work, and I was able to get my vehicle fixed in a timely manner, when I would not be able to usually. They offered to put me up in a hotel while it got fixed(I didnt need it as I had just found a friends place to stay at that night but had prior to that needed help). They then were nice enough to buy an overnight bag filled with needed supplies, and a pillow and then drove me to the place I was to stay at, and offered to pick me up the next day. Very friendly, close knit group of people who are not out to take advantage of you. Thanks to everyone in your store for your help!
