Crooks. I took my car here because I had a tiny slow brake fluid leak. Car has 50,000 clicks on it. They said there was a leaky caliper and that both calipers needed to be replaced. Asked me to authorize repair for $550 ish. I agreed. Then immediately they said I needed a brake flush which put it up to $700 on which I wavered and then tacked on another $150 to diagnose the problem which brought it up to $900. I began to feel pressured and uneasy and asked to have some time to think about it and consider my options. They ramped up the pressure, told me that it was not safe to drive and that the fluid was "gushing" out. I knew this to be untrue based on the teaspoon of brake fluid I was occasionally having to add. I told them I was prepared to take that "risk", but was not going to proceed with the repair because I didnt appreciate their unethical high pressure tactics. I told them I would pick up the car that evening and pay the diagnostic charge only. A short while later I got a call from the Service Manager, informing me that they would not allow me to take the vehicle off the lot unless I had it towed, that it was "too dangerous" which I knew to be an outright lie. In effect they were confiscating my property in order to try and secure my business by force and intimidation. I reiterated I would be picking up my vehicle that evening and not to proceed with the repair. I came by when they were closed and picked it up, it ran and stopped perfectly all the way home. No grabbiness at all as one would expect if there truly was a leaky caliper. I returned the next day to pay the $150 "diagnostic". I then brought it elsewhere. Diagnosis: a loose connection from the brake line to the perfectly good caliper. A 5 minute fix requiring no parts and including checking the other 3 wheels. Brake flush performed took about 30 minutes: dealer cost of fluid $22. A culture of dishonesty and coercive intimidation. I would avoid.

I bought a used vehicle there August of 2013 with 95000km, I picked a 2006 rover! Big mistake. I had in writing on the bill of sale the new equipment was supposed to be on the vehicle upon paying for it & pick up the next day! New air shocks on front and back as well as brakes or not installed!!! About a week or two later I questioned the sales manager! And NOTHING but bull.......well funny thing is not even a few months later the old 2005 equipment wore out with 110000 km witch is normal for air shocks that old.... the vehicle was extremely bouncy as the air shocks were used! I can prove this and I am in the process of taking them to small claims court. I have attempted mediation too. I looked on the air shocks and they have manufacture dates dating back to 2005 meaning that they were on the vehicle since the original manufacturing date of 2006. I feel Ive been ripped of over $3000. UPDATE... after a small claims suit/trial I was not interested in a subpoena for techs from other provinces I settled with west end Suzuki for one third the claim and cost on parts provided by them. Ill actually just put them in my self! Remember if you want a job right do it yourself and like the stock market take whatever you can get and run! Sometimes theres no point in going through Long drawn out of court case, when youre not a lawyer because we all know how lawyers and used car dealers can skrew you!

I would like to recommend Wested Suzuki if your are looking to buy a New Suzuki- Westend Suzuki was amazing NO GAMES!!! I asked the price and GOT the price NOT a payment!!!! At the other Suzuki dealer they would not give me a price, they would either talk in circles and give me payments or tell me price wasnt important the car was, I asked for a manager, he was worse than the salesman he kept telling me that if I wasnt buying today he wouldnt give me a price and how they were the number 1 dealer in Canada I DONT CARE if theyre number 1 or 2, I just want to buy a new car and I WANT A PRICE, so I can decide if I can afford it and how it compares to other cars ive looked at. Westend Suzuki answered my questions with answers not questions, they explianed everything about the vehicle and the price and left me with a happy stress free experience, from the minute I walked in I was respected and treated like someone should be.

Avoid this business! I had my Suzuki serviced there 2 days ago and was told I needed new front brake pads and rotors as the old pads had only 3 mm left. I said go ahead and asked the old parts back. They charged me $550 for replacing front brake pads and rotors. Yesterday I measured the replaced old pads and found they have average 6 mm left. So I went there today complaining that they did not tell me the fact and they should not do business by misleading (lying to) customers. They said the pads were not evenly worn. I would agree the brakes needed adjustment, but not replacement. The assistant manager denied any wrongdoing and asked me to talk to the owner. I now plan to file a complaint with Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council.

Amazing. I went here after I had troubles with my Suzuki swift 2008 and my local mechanic could not fix nor see the problem. The lady at the front was understanding and we left it there until the mechanic could find the problem and fix it. We were called the next day with a update and then were called the following day with the great news we could take the car home. My brake light and dash lights were fixed with no extra charge. this is now my go to place if i ever have more trouble with my Suzuki.

Very positive experience. Highly recommend. Stephanie at the front desk is articulate and knowledgeable and took the time to explain things clearly. The mechanic went above and beyond and although they spent many hours tracking down the issue with our car, they only charged us for a one hour diagnostic....and fixed the issue at no charge. Unprecedented.

I am in the market for a new vehicle. I want to pay cash, no financing. However after reading these reviews one gets the distinct impression that West End Suzuki is staffed by crooks and owned by a crook ! Therefore you have lost an "easy sale !"
