EDIT: I spoke with the owner who said that it was possible that the tire had a preexisting sidewall puncture that hadnt gone all the way through the tire and that the process of changing the tires over to new rims caused it to open up completely. I cant deny that this may have been the case as that is a plausible explanation. He didnt think the issue was caused in his shop but he said he wanted to make it right and attempted to find me a pair of used tires that would work for me. When I said I didnt want to run mismatched tires he said hed be willing to sell me a new set of 4 winter tires at cost and also cover the cost of swapping them over again so I wouldnt have to pay for that twice. This to me, demonstrates integrity and a willingness to make things right and I greatly appreciate that. Because of this, I am revising my review and rating to reflect this. Id like to say thank you to the owner; what you did here shows that you care about your business and your customers. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I went in to Subserious to have a set of winter tires dismounted from one set of rims and put on to another. Later that day I got a call from the shop saying they couldnt mount one of the tires as it had a torn sidewall, which makes sense. What didnt make sense was that those same tires were holding air perfectly fine when I brought them in to the shop as I had just tested them that morning. When I brought that fact up, I was told I must have somehow missed it and whoever sold them to me (full disclosure, I did buy the tires used) must have been trying to hide it. Now I am not an unreasonable person but saying I somehow didnt notice a tire with a half inch hissing hole that was leaking air as fast as you could fill it just isnt reasonable. And while I appreciate that accidents happen, rather than take personal responsibility, they chose to deny wrongdoing. This demonstrates a lack of ethics and shady business practice in my personal opinion. I am now in the unenviable position of having to purchase 2 additional tires (which the shop offered to sell me at full price I might add) and will have to pay the installation fee twice. I thought Id give the business a shot as they were local to me and unfortunately that was a mistake. And while Im sure this review will have little to no affect on their business, if you were considering getting work done at this shop you might want to reconsider. And for those that choose to give Subserious their business, I sincerely hope you have a better experience than I did.

Took my car in and bought rims and tires for my 2003 Mustang. I didnt know absolutely anything about rims or tires, and that gives con artists like these guys opportunities to rip people off!! And thats exactly what they did. I was over charged for rims and tires that didnt even fit my car properly, they were scratched to crap, and werent even installed properly. Im not even going to get into the fact that the size of rims and tires werent even what I wanted, nor the fact that the rims were filthy and full of finger prints and grease when I went to pick it up. Fountain tire said I was lucky they didnt come off while I was driving! (I have the proof) Took my car back, the owner basically told me all sales were final, and that I could cover the scratches with black nail Polish! Nice! I made a review on Facebook, and the owner contacted me. As soon as I said Id contact fountain tire and get him the proof I needed to prove that this place is an unsafe scam, and that I felt taken advantage of; I was suddenly and coincidentally unable to contact him. AND blocked me from contacting him or posting on the page! If you had nothing to hide, you sure jump quickly to hide negative reviews! The people working here are unprofessional, lack of brains, people who cant get a job at McDonalds work here. Greasy, rude, uneducated, again.. unprofessional. And if you dont believe the negative reviews, go there for yourself and take a look at the disgusting- filthy waiting room. I had $1500 ripped away from me. And had several people tell me that I couldve bought NICER for what I paid. Have a good day Dimitry. Dont bother replying as I have no interest in reading your BS. This is my review, and Im spreading the word to those who even think about risking their lives and over paying for absolute crap. To those of you reading, DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST! I bought rims for my 2014 mustang last year for cheaper. They are amazing looking, not a single scratch, polished (even my tires were polished), and they even had my car on display out front for when I pulled up! (Thank you Tire Warehouse!). These guys didnt even clean the rims after installing! Full of dust and finger prints, etc.. I remember having to clean it. I remember the disappointment here at subserious! Cheers!

Are you serious? Has anyone seen this place. The owner should be ashamed. Id be embarrassed to even work there let alone shop there. The quality of staff is unbelievable, the people who cant get jobs at McDonalds go here for a job. Everyone is unprofessional, rude 95% of the time, they are never in a hurry for no one, they act like YOU are inconveniencing them by being there. Its unbelievable. The place is a junkyard, but I guess catering to the clientele in Beverly this may be top notch. This place shouldnt even be in business. Everyone stay away. Unfortunately I needed a part that day, with two hours before everywhere else closed and I could only find there. Waited an hour for them to find it in the junkyard. After I payed. And no refunds otherwise I would have asked for my money back after the first 10 minutes and went without. Do yourself a favour and go to a classy, clean, respectable shop. Money talks. Dont reward a shady shop by giving them business. Capitalism will take care of the rest.

Saw their ads about winter wheels on Facebook, they said they do Porsche, but in fact they dont know anything, been going back and forth for numerous times to fix the shaking problem that cause by the wheels that centric hub doesnt fit! The owner dimitri keep pushing the problem back to me! He have the nerve to say the vehicle wont shake if its under speed limit, it was me that insist to drive over speed limit so its my problem! I almost laughed when he said that, even her staff was rolling their eyes! Long story short. After few messages he agreed to exchange something second hand for my mini van instead, but again, he dont have the size I need, and push me to something that the bolt pattern is totally different from my Van! I check with the city, and my insurance company, they said that is totally illegal and if anything happens my insurance will be void! I wasted 5 months and more then 3k with this company, so save your time avoid it at all cost!

Saw an ad on Kijiji from this business advertising tire changes for $10. I was also looking for steel rims to mount my tires onto and make next years switch less of a hassle. I called ahead and was told they have lots of rims in their yard and Id have to come by and browse to see if they have my size as they were too busy to check. I show up there and get a different story. They tell me "what they meant" was theyd have to order new steel rims from a distributor as they dont stock any. If I wanted to mount the tires onto my current rims it wouldnt be $10 per tire, it would actually be $10 to unmount my summer tire, $10 to mount the winter tire, and $10 to balance it, which would make this place more expensive than much more reputable shops. Waste of time.
