I spoke to Jesse on the phone, needing axle seals replaced ASAP. Booked me in immediately for the following day. Very casual atmosphere at the shop, vry impressed with customer service. Not in a "jump-to-the-pump fashion, but more in the way I could tell that they would go out of the way to be helpful. Initially, I had asked for the job to done same day, but when I came to pick up the car, I was told they were very busy and may not be able to complete the job that day. When I mentioned how important is was to me that I have the car back that day, Jesse immediately suggested that if I was willing to wait, they would get right on it. I went out for dinner with my mom, and I came back 45 minutes before the car was to be ready. Within a few minutes of my return, the car was ready to go, and I was charged exactly what I was quoted. They also pointed out another possible problem without trying to push any extra repairs on me. I will have to drive the car for a few days to be sure, but so far I would have to say I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Reasonable shop rates, friendly staff, and willing to go the extra mile. I should also mention that they worked past the posted shop hours to finish the job for me, and I was told if I have any problems with the work to bring it back immediately for repair. If the quality of the work stands up to the rest of the expreience, I am definitely recommending Metro to everyone I know.

I took my car here to get winter tires put on and not only did they take MUCH longer than they had quoted me, making me over an hour late for work, but they also destroyed one of the winter tires that I was getting put on. I understand that accidents happen, however, it has now been three months and I have not heard anything about getting a replacement winter tire. I have been driving on three winter tires and one summer/all season, which is unsafe on its own, and I feel as though a professional mechanics shop should understand this. Also, the one summer tire will have much more wear than the other three, just as eventually when I get a winter tire it will have much less wear than the others. All of this will affect the handling and grip of the vehicle. For a well known, respected shop to do this really surprises me but the fact that we have gotten nowhere in almost three months is what I find very bad. I called once and they said they did not have another tire, but would keep trying. Would not recommend these guys.

I have dealt with Metro Auto now for about 4+ years and in that time have found them to be helpful,professional and their prices fair.The owner has gone out of his way on many occasions to help me out with problems the vehicle I had underwent.I find it hard to believe that some of the things I read here happened cause with the car I had a couple of years ago I spent a fair amount of time in their shop.I found them to be honest and forthright even giving me breaks cause I was on a disability pension.I would not fail to recommend this service to any of my friends and have on more than one occasion when friends needed things done.When the car I had died they went so far as to help me with another vehicle and other than the regular oil changes and gas I still drive it today and that was over 2 years ago.Please keep up the good work guys. This place is a FRAUD. I looked them up on the internet and selected them based on previous good comments which now I think are written by either themselves or their buddies. I dropped off my car there because the check engine light was on. This shop is located in the busiest part of the city (china town, the car was out on a test drive by one of the mechanics when I got there, they crashed the car and never accepted and just kept saying that it was crashed before we dropped off. They are not Trustworthy, and they were quite more expensive than another place that is fixing my car now. STAY AWAY!!

This Auto Mechanic is amazing - Jesse helped me get out of a real pinch. Called about 10 Mechanics late on a Sunday and none are even open or where willing to help. Jesse was the only one willing to work late and help a stranded person - he drove to me and after a short bit of tinkering fixed my battery charging problem. Best of all he fixed my car on the spot and didnt even charge even though I offered... This is serious dedication to your job. Thanks Man! I would use them every time from now on since no one anymore seems to do this sort of thing. Best mechanic ever!

I had my car done there, since my car was making loud noises I knew that there was something wrong. A friend referred me to MetroAuto and had them look at it, they were really helpful and very friendly. I didnt have to wait around that long they quickly diagnosed the problem and told me what needs to be done and told me to wait for their call. When I got my car back it was running like brand new. Lets just say I got more than what Ive paid for!! This will be the only mechanic shop that I would go to from now on if my car needs to be fixed!!. :) :)

Just moved to town and our Honda needed some basic service. Jesse got me quickly and took care of everything. The price was good for the service and there were no surprises. He explained that I would probably need to get my brakes replaced sometime in the next year, but put no pressure on me to do it right away as some mechanics are known to do. Overall i had a great experience and I will definitely be using this place for my automotive needs. They did everything.

REALLY great service from Metro Auto! I needed some pretty extensive repairs done to my car and these guys walked me through each and every step! I dropped my car off and walked over to Chinatown for lunch. A few hours later they called me when the car was done! Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but I definitely trust these guys! I was surprised at how reasonable the cost was too!

I needed a alignment done on my vehicle, and ive taken it to 2 other mechanic shops, and none of them could do it right, I saw a ad on kijiji about a alignment special, and thought to give it a try. I was so happy that finally i found a great place for mechanic work, car is straight, and its actually fixed properly. I would highly recommend this place to anybody.!!

TERRIBLE- Went in with a deal find voucher $22 for $110 value oil change and engine shampoo and came out paying an extra $80, nickeled and dimed for EVERYTHING, including fluid top up. Their shop rate was $95/hour- ridiculous and NOT honest youd think considering the ghetto area. Would never go to again, and not recommend others.
