Had to do an out-of-province inspection, and decided to go to this place, as its close to my house and I wanted to support a local business. Booked an appointment over the phone for Saturday at 9AM, showed up, was told it was moved to a weekday at 11AM...perfect. Rebooked an appointment that I could actually make, (which was was actually "completed" rather promptly), they called me back, and estimated a price around ~$1000. I agreed, and they went ahead with the repairs. Then, they called me back the next day, and told me that I would need new brake pads and rotors, and that they were necessary to complete the inspection. Thus another $550 was tacked on. I came in to pay for the repairs, and the guy who was at the desk didnt even bother to look or talk to me. Definitely will not return.

This place is awful - dont go here! I needed an inspection for my vehicle. They told me what needed to be done and how much it would cost, but I knew I could do it myself for a fraction of the price. So I made the necessary upgrades, brought it back, and I was told about OTHER "new" issues that didnt seem to be a problem before. He was obviously upset that I fixed the car myself. I needed the inspection completed soon so I had them fix these "new" problems. It took ALL day and I was charged 3x more for parts than I know they cost! They charged me for labor all day, even though I saw them working on other cars when I came back to check up. These guys are assholes that are not honest and dont deserve anyones hard-earned money!

I have brought my vehicle to Key-Tech for the last 10 years. The mechanic and his son are a great team and they have always done a great job. I am so relieved to have been able to find a family run mechanic shop that are extremely honest, caring and reliable. The workmanship is excellent and the mechanic only repairs what is necessary; like if I can drive my car for another couple months before the brakes need changing he tells me so. The really great aspect is that, "THE MECHANIC WAS A BORN FARM MECHANIC SO HE KNOW HIS STUFF " Thanks, Key-Tech Family

Went for my OOP yesterday, fixed a few things my self like shocks and lateral link and light bulbs. Was quoted $700 for inspection and alignment and CV as I missed the CV was leaking grease thought it was preservative oil. Its Tuesday late afternoon and have car back already. And was Olly $610. How often does that happen? Quite impressed and would definitely go back again.

Awesome family business, the owner Tom was incredibly helpful. My bill came to less than what I was quoted so I was happy to pay the amount of the the original quote and give them the xtra that I would have saved. I am bringing my BMW X5 4.8 I S back for a wheel alignment next month and would definitely recommend Tom and his business to any of my friends or family.

I had my vehicle inspected and repaired in 2012. He informed me what was needed to get it registered in Alberta...after 1800. Later my lil truck was running smoothly snd purring like a kitten. He is a honest man and will only tell you what you need repaired and will not rip you off. I am taking my car there next week, I know he do a great job on it. Thanks

Does not answer the phone professionally, I literally had to ask if this was "keytech" and all he said was "hello" like it was his home phone i called and when I asked if this was a business "yup" is all he said, pretty greasy Littles shop I tell you, give it 0 stars if I could but have to give it 1 because he answered the phone like a geriatric

Key Tech has serviced my late model Subaru over last three years. Canadian Tire told me I had no brakes (four discs). Key Tech told me I had 86%. More recently excellent repair within 24 hours. I have referred... and now take my Toyota SUV for service there...

Total Joke! this place is never busy and i can see why, HORRIBLE customer service! If you ever ask to see what he said was wrong he WILL NOT show you worst place ive been to in a long time he doesnt have a clue what hes doing and hes a jerk about it!
