Free tire repairs! Brought in a tire for tire repair. It was free, repaired, so I Thanked them and donated to the food bank. Next time I brought in another tire for a slow leak, some pimply kid took the tire in for the repair. When I called them to see if it was ready, they gave me a story about corrosion and it could not be fixed. When I retrieved my tire, there was a 1 inch gash in the side wall. The tire was not flat and I did not have a blow out, just a slow leak. They said they will install for free if I bring them another tire. They broke my tire so I NEVER went back. Went back later to see if they will make things right or to see what kind of service I can expect. Brought in the tire again with a replacement tire I found. Had to talk to the assistant manager. He tells me he will not install it for free but will give me 10% off. Then he said he will install it but not balance it. What a joke! Told them to shove it and I brought my tire down the street to Tire Warehouse. I rather pay to have it installed properly there instead and will NEVER go back to Kal Tire. They completely lost my trust and my business and hopefully you will not go to Kal on 170th.

I used to like this Kal Tire. They recommended and sold us Nokian tires that have worked great for our Jeep, and we liked the free tire rotations. However, on July 22 I took my Jeep in for a tire rotation and free "true service" inspection (that covered brakes and suspension). The technician identified a suspension problem. I asked them for a quote to repair and for the required parts. I ended up getting a second and even third inspections - one from a dealership service centre and another from an independent locally-owned mechanic shop. These two separate assessments demonstrated that: 1) Kal Tire failed to identify the full extent of repairs that would be required and necessary for my vehicle to operate safely 2) Kal Tire quoted for a specific part number - one that had a limited 2 yr warranty - but the agent told me it was another, superior product with a lifetime warranty I will likely not be returning to this location, and would caution anyone using this location that they may not be taking diligent care on issues that have safety implications, not to mention cost and warranty on choice of parts.

We really cant say enough good things about these guys. The west end location in Edmonton, and Kal Tire in general, has been great. Last week we had our new winter tires stolen right off our van in our own driveway. Kaltire went above and beyond to get us up and running again. They made it affordable, did a full inspection that required one of their senior techs to stay late when we had to wait all day for a tow, and got us back on the road faster than we would have ever expected otherwise. They made what was otherwise an extremely stressful situation something we could manage and made us appreciate our decision to buy from them. Can you find cheaper alternatives? Sure. Check Kijiji but think twice about where those tires came from (you get what you pay for and theres a good chance they were stolen - always ask for proof of purchase). Kaltire offers a high quality product and service that is worth coming back for. You wont be disappointed.

I used to be a Fountain Tire girl but switched to Kal Tire after some awesome customer service with my new car. I have never had any problems with their customer service, at multiple locations, until today. I dropped off a tire yesterday for repair and I picked it up first thing this morning. I was pleasantly surprised that they didnt charge for the tire repair, but the rep refused to put the tire on my car. I asked twice, even offering to pay for it and wasnt even given a "it will be 15 minutes until we have a free bay". Just a flat out "No". As I had driven on my donut spare all day yesterday and had a full day of driving today, I didnt feel comfortable waiting until I got home or could get someone to change it for me, so I pulled into a neighboring parking lot and proceeded to change it myself. It would have taken them 5 minutes, but instead I had to crawl around on the ground. I will never go to this location again.

Brought my van to change back the winter tires back to all season. My trunk doesnt fit in all 4 set of rims & tires, so I put 2 sets in the trunk and 2 sets in the front when I brought in. When I picked up my van I noticed they squeezed and put 3 sets in the trunk and 1 in the front. So they cracked a piece of plastic on the side. I pointed it out to the agent who helped me. He said his manager was on vacation. He said he will talk to the manager and asked me to follow up later on. After 2 weeks, I called and talked to this agent to follow up, and he said his manager was not in.????? He took my phone number and said he will talk to the manager and will call me back for sure....It has been weeks, never got called back or anything. This is ridiculous. It seems they are just playing games to avoid.

Once again the guys at Kaltire have been awesome. Bought my new tires at St Paul, Alberta Kaltire. They were extremely nice and helpful. Moved to BC and had my out of province inspection done at Cranbrook Kaltire. They were very quick to get that done and the work needed to pass inspection as well. Just had a flat in Edmonton. First Kaltire I went to did not have the tire in stock so put on my spare and booked me an appointment at the next closest Kaltire who proceeded to get me in early. I had warranty and only cost me $52 for a brand new tire installed. You guys are great. Keep up the good work. Im very happy to know you have my back.

They did the work asked of them but when I returned to settle the bill I waited and waited and waited. I realize the two guys working the counter(s) were helping other customers but I was not acknowledged at all. Others came in at this point and when one guy was done, he immediately looked to them. I had to call out just to be noticed! Then, when I finally returned to my vehicle, they had taken out most of the things behind the seats of my truck and left them scattered all over the cab. RIDICULOUS!!! Any time you pack o fools need a customer service clinic, I will happily volunteer my services. Otherwise, I will not be returning.

Outstanding attention to customer satisfaction and a relentless pursuit to resolve issues. Hats off to Matt and his team of Dean, John, Veronica, and the behind the glass specialists. Our 2017 Golf was experiencing vibration at 100K on new wheels. The team tried everything from different rubber to different rims - no luck. They worked their network of contacts and discovered an issue with this model year and the right wheels to recommend. They rushed them in from Montreal, all the while keeping me posted. Now were riding happy with some discounts and rebates along the way. Truly value for money and expertise. Tx-Mahendra
