I was pulled in by an honest facade- fairly low prices, up front business folk, workers paid hourly and not by the job... Seemed legitimate. I was fed up with other shady salesmen from other dealerships and thought this might be different. Purchased a 2007 Dodge Caliber. The test drive was fine, just seemed a bit off... I was told it was due to icy/snowy conditions, and that the vehicle was mechanically sound. A few days later after very nice weather I realized the vehicle is still fishtailing and swerving, which didnt make sense. I took it back to the shop for them to check out- in particular the alignment. After looking at it, they determined the alignment was fine. They took it for a test drive and told me there was definitely something wrong with it, but they dont know what is wrong. thats where they left it. No offer to look at it, no offer to repair a broken vehicle they just sold me days before, just a "well, yup, something wrong here... Good luck!" I just had to spend $400 on tires at Costco, because my misaligned vehicle absolutely shredded my rear tires. The back wheels were angled so hard into one another that all my vehicle did was fishtail. How did the mechanics not catch that? It was visible to the untrained eye, and they didnt figure it out? Which brings us to the actual repair to fix the alignment. I took it to Trail Tire in Meadowlark, a quality operation not run by shady businessmen. $1600 in alignment/control arm repair, my vehicle is finally what it should have been upon purchasing. Whatever price they tell you for your vehicle... Just tack in a few thousand for e eventual repairs they will acknowledge, but not fix. Shady and dishonest.

I am truly saying the guys are amazing here, The owner of this company is very very nice person & very helpful nature. JON work as a sales man but I have to say this " He is very truth speaking person about his Job--No matter which vehicle you buy. I been there to buy a Car within my budget & the guys are that much nice that " after listing to me & my condition" they sold me a very nice car with marginal benefit, I really felt the owner helped me. Other than that when the owner saw the tires are worn out he replaced the tires with 4 brand new winter tires without charging me any dollar. they gave me Inspection report & Car proof with the bill of sell. I am telling you guys, This is one of the best place to buy vehicle, this guys dont sell any crappy vehicle, I am not writing this to support company, I am giving this feedback because they deserve it due to the quality of customer service they have provided to me.

Be Wary!!! Their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on as they will not honor it. Purchased what was supposed to be an inpsected vehicle from J & J. We had the check engine light come on and we brought back to J & J. They changed some spark plugs and said it as fixed. Brought the vehicle back again when check engine light came on and vehicle starting running poorly. Dropped the vehicle off on a Tuesday and could not pick up again till the following Sunday (what a joke). When we picked up the vehicle it was still not running correctly and check engine light came back on by the time we got home. Took to a reputable shop and they had it diagnosed within a hour. The fix cost $900 but the vehicle is running fine now. These are the people your mother warned you about!

Unfortunately this is the first time I have come across any unhappy customers. I manage this business that has been serving Edmonton and Area for 35 plus years. It is difficult purchasing a used vehicle and we cant predict the future. I am more than happy to help out any customer that is ever having issues. Our warranty covers 3 months or 3000 kms ....... If the warranty even passes either of these stipulations I still always bend over backwards to help keep any customer happy. I would be more than happy to help anyone anytime. We operate a loyal and honest business and have been doing so for 35 plus years. We have never had any unresolved issues with AMVIC who legislates our industry.

0/5 stars J&J auto is a poor excuse for a shop. They are a perfect example of why people do not trust mechanics. After dropping my car off to be fixed I was reassured my Jason (one of the owners) that my car would be fixed in less than a week. Two weeks later I decided I had had enough of Jasons lies and false promises, he cost me several hundred dollars in rental fees and weeks of stress. I took my car to another shop. The mechanic that did end up fixing my car (for less than Jason was going to charge me) said that it looked like a monkey had tried to bang the damage back into place. I strongly suspect that J&J did not hire an actual mechanic with a ticket to fix my car.

I give J&J 5 stars for service. Customer for 9 years. I never purchased any vehicles from J&J. Best of service on my 97 Chev Astro van. Most reasonable price ever for repairs. After having the seals done at the Chevy dealer there was not enough heat to clear the windshield. John told me that the dealer failed to back wash the heater core. J&J took it out, cleaned it and put it back in. They charged me 60 bucks for that. Ive gone down there a number of times and wasnt charged to just take a look at the vehicle. I also take my sedan down for all repairs and oil changes.

This place is shady! Nothing but trouble with my purchased vehicle. I bought the car as a fully inspected vehicle (rookie mistake). 100 km out of the garage, the engine light came on. They looked at it but the light kept coming on. They didnt want to fix the problem, but they just lied to me saying the car was fine when I bought it. I brought it somewhere else and there was a leak in the intake manifold that caused the catalytic converter to dysfunction. Every 1000 km I had to put 1000$ on repairs in it. Be very cautious with this place or better yet, stay away!

The car I bought here was okay at first. But right after the three month mark, it started showing problems. It does not have any rusts but then with one blink it has rust all over the sides. The batteries that were on it, were too old that it leaked. They said the alternators needed replacement, then so on, countless problems. Right on the three month mark. I had to do alot of repairs that I ended up paying more than what I paid for. And the car that I bought wasnt even that old. Funny. I dont think I would recommend them anyways.

Hi Framed Flower, Unfortunately you have the wrong garage here. We dont have a Jason that works here. You are thinking JJ WHOLESALE REPAIR. They are not affiliated with us at all. Just wanted to let you know. When we purchase vehicles from franchise dealership trade ins they disclose to us if true milage is unknown. We must declare this to the customers as our due diligence according to the AMVIC laws which we must and do follow. My understanding is that you were told this before wanting to purchase the vehicle.
