RO #55430 All of the staff at your East Edmonton location were excellent - very professional and courteous. I appreciated receiving regular email/text updates and the staff giving me rides to and from work while my car was being repaired. The repair was completed even faster than promised. I did have some minor issues - when I received the car, it was evident that the new fender was misaligned, and there were still markings on the outside indicating damage, suggesting to me that the car had not been properly cleaned. The inside of my car still had several crumbs in it, even though Herbers promises interior cleaning/detailing. The first two issues were both immediately addressed for me while I waited, but I was told that Herbers only does a surface cleaning of the interior, not a detailing. I later discovered a scratch on the new fender, and noticed that my drivers side door lock could not be manually engaged anymore. Herbers asked me to bring back my car to have the items fixed. When I got the car back, I noticed that, in the process of fixing the lock, there was new damage done to the interior trim panel and door handle. There were also scratches to some of the interior paint. I had to wait for Herbers to order in new parts and bring my car back a third time to have them replaced. However, whereas they replaced the door handle, they decided to just "sand down" the damage to the trim in lieu of replacing it, contrary to what I had been told. Having brought the car in three times already, I decided to let it go and take the car home as given to me. My overall impression was very good - the only improvements I would suggest is to be more careful and detail-oriented with the repairs. Keep up the excellent customer service.

I brought my car in this location for the second time because they accidentally damaged my car during the time they are fixing the scratch last March When they released my car I already noticed the faded paint they have done on the same panel they originally worked for. The guy refused the damage and just ignored my concern. But in the end after my feedback they called me for the repair. Iam not really a technical person in this kind of business but I just wondered why it takes a little longer to fix the second damage cause by mishandling of the car by the body shop... On my first transaction with them to fix the scratch which is under in my insurance claim they fixed the car so quick with real time updates thru text messages. But unfortunately during my second transaction with them it takes a little longer and i received only one update for the entire repair. I requested a loner but i decided not to get this because Iam not comfortable to use the sedan and i was informed that it will takes faster than the first work. The car is not ready yet when i need to use the car for my work. I called the shop and i told them that i need the loner but Cindy told me that nobody will pick me up (what is the shuttle service for?) I ran out of time until i didnt got the car. I took a cab from work going home. I experienced these all inconveniences because of the mistake and accidental damaged of my car done by Herbers Argyll Road. I reported this to my insurance and they told me that the body shop should pay for the inconvenience and after all they are the reason why i experienced all these things. It is unfair and worst service I experienced in this Herbers location. I hope the higher management will address my concern.

I had an excellent experience with Herbers. Herbers was recommended by my insurance company originally. My vehicle was towed there and after some short paperwork it was on the list to be inspected. My experience landed in the middle of the Christmas season, but it was only delayed by a couple days because of the stat holidays. However Herbers was excellent in calling me the morning of New Years eve letting me know it would be ready in the late afternoon. Herbers also uses a system that you can login and track what status your vehicle is at and will send you emails and texts updating you... Definitely an awesome feature to keep you informed! On New Years Eve I was able to pick up my car ... I had an excellent experience with the reception staff who answered all of my questions and informed me which questions had to be directed to my insurance company. I was then met by the shop foreman who explained the invoice, which items were new, which were fixed, which items were subletted to a different company (Glass work for me). He did a walk around of the vehicle, showed me which items on my invoice matched the actual items on my car. The work was awesome... Absolutely no way to tell that any damage was there before. My car even had the new car smell when I drove away. Thank you Herbers for making the stress of a car accident that much easier to deal with. I will most definitely come back if I ever need an autobody shop again! Brad R059105

I had a few dents in my drivers door needing to be fixed. I brought my car to Herbers and had the free inspection done. When they were finished, Zak K. was the advisor helping me and he did a really great job explaining exactly what was going to be done to the car and why, as well as directing me with how to go about filing a claim with my insurance company and filing a police report as I was pretty much lost in that area. Zak was really helpful and professional every time we spoke. He had my estimate emailed to me in a timely manner and followed up to make sure I received the email. They set up a rental car for me at Enterprise across the parking lot for more than enough days for the repair to be completed. I got email updates every day about the stage of the repair which was very nice. They were one day behind for repainting, but when I was told, they jumped on the chance to ensure my rental car was covered for the extra day. When I got my car back, it was cleaner than when I left it and the repair was perfect. My paint was a limited edition colour when the car was bought in 2006, and they matched the colour perfectly. Lastly, I want to add that the receptionist, Jamie, was so so friendly everytime I came in, and she remembered my name in my later visits which is always really nice. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Herbers Autobody East if you need work done! :)

My car was hit by a truck while I was shopping in a store. "Hit-and-run" which sucks. I went to Herbers, and was helped by Frankie, and he was very understanding about how frustrating it can be with a hit and run, and took the time to listen, and also make sure that the initial inspection was quick and efficient. - when I was there for the first appointment, I mentioned that there was a slight scraping sound as well, while driving - which they knew was the dented wheel well rubbing on my tire. With the insurance adjuster there and finished with the initial check-out, the Herbers guy adjusted the dent temporarily so it wouldnt be scraping on my wheel! Wonderful extra step! I dropped the vehicle in, got picked up by the Enterprise Rental place and then had a temporary vehicle. The Herbers "Real Time Repair" was awesome! Text messages about my cars status as it progressed, and even being able to log onto their site and see the status - is a great extra feature. It was only a few days, and it was done! Im back in my car and it looks brand new. I would recommend Herbers and the people there any time. David Lee RO #53462
