Overall, I had a good experience with Go Honda. My parents recommended the place because I had a lackluster experience with one of their competitors the last time I purchased a car. I originally went in on a Tuesday with the intention of seeing what they had and getting some information. I was going to come back on Wednesday or maybe even Friday/Saturday because they were having a special event where you received a free iPad with the purchase of a new vehicle. The salesperson was tremendously helpful in providing all the information I needed to make my decision. He gave me a good discount on the vehicle, confirmed that he could give me one of the iPads if I purchased before Friday/Saturday, and promised to buy me dinner. I ate dinner while looking at brochures then brought him the receipt. He compensated me by taking the cost off the price of the car. Fully informed, I decided to make the purchase that same day. The business manager I spoke with knew a lot about the extra services they offer with new vehicles. He pushed for me to buy a few of them, but was understanding when I said no. I ended up with extended warranty, and I was happy with it. I was buying new rather than used because I wanted warranty. He discounted the extended warranty and promised to partially compensate me for it if I didnt make use of the extension by the time it expired. While speaking with him, I noticed that there was no paperwork regarding the free iPad. I mentioned this, so he called in the salesperson Id spoken with previously. The sales guy promised again that he would get me the free iPad. I left without finalizing the purchase because it was getting late and I wanted to read all the documents thoroughly before signing. The next day I returned with the signed paperwork and we finished the sale. I financed the decently discounted vehicle at a 1.99% interest rate. I asked for a blue vehicle, but they only had white available immediately. They offered free mats if I wanted to drive the white one home that day. I accepted. After I left, I sent the salesperson an email asking about the iPad. He said that I should be able to come back after the weekend to pick it up, as their shipment had not yet arrived for the event. Its now been one week since I originally visited Go Honda. The car is great. However, I received a text from the salesperson yesterday saying that I couldnt have the iPad. I followed this up with emails to both him and the business manager I spoke with to confirm that they were going back on their word. Although the two had promised to give me a free iPad, they later learned that customers at the event had the option of rejecting the iPad in favour of a discount on the car. Since my vehicle was discounted, they decided that I had forfeited the iPad. This was confusing to me since the vehicle was already discounted when the business manager, the salesperson, and I all discussed the iPad together. If there was an issue, it shouldve been mentioned at that point. Failing that, it couldve been mentioned when I came back the next day. The iPad wasnt particularly important to me. I intended to gift it to my parents. But an issue like this speaks about the business ethic at Go Honda. In the end, I had a good experience. They sold me a vehicle I was happy with, they helped me finance it at a good rate, they extended the warranty at a discounted rate, and they offered me free mats so that Id be happy going with my second choice for a color. If they had originally told me that I couldnt have the iPad, Id be giving them 5 stars right now. If they had admitted to their mistake and followed through on their promise by giving me an iPad, I would be giving them 5 stars. As is, Im giving them 3 stars. I recommend this dealership. I also recommend that you GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Based on my experience theyll go back on verbal promises once youve purchased your vehicle.

I went to this dealership yesterday to look at the CRV. My sales rep. was very polite and I didnt have an issue with him. However, the sales manager who was on the floor at the time was a different situation all together (Sunday, July 17th at approx. 12:30PM). I was looking to trade in my current vehicle as well as purchase a new CRV. The sales manager asked for my keys so he could go inspect the body of my car for damage. I agreed and then without my permission or knowledge he left the lot with my vehicle and took it for a "test drive." Upon returning in my vehicle, he processed to tell me how my car "bailed out blue smoke to the point that it surrounded the car and choked him when coming to a stop." First of all, I am very anal about my vehicle maintenance and would not only notice if this was happening (considering I drive the vehicle everyday) but it was also brought into the dealership just 4 days prior for a routine oil change and the vehicle was giving a full bill of health to how everything was running. Secondly, my vehicle is only 3 years old and under warranty. If there was an issue, it certainly would have been dealt with. He then tried to use this "blue smoke" as an excuse to why he was offering me a certain dollar value for my trade in. I told him I was no longer interested in doing business with him, asked for my keys and went outside to leave. When approaching my vehicle outside, you could smell a smokey burning rubber (which had also never happened before). When I got into my vehicle and started it, sure enough blue smoke started bailing out. I didnt know what to do as this had never happened before he sneakingly took my vehicle out without my permission. I began to drive to my normal dealership to get it checked out (which is approx. a 5 minute drive from Honda). For about half of my drive, the vehicle continued to bail out blue smoke. By the time I reached the dealership, the smoke had completely stopped. When my dealership inspected my vehicle they said there was nothing wrong with it, it was not bailing smoke and they couldnt locate a reason as to why it ever would have. They then offered me a fair value for my vehicle on trade in. I am confident that he temporarily tampered with my vehicle to try and low ball me on a trade in price. Best case scenario, he revved my engine continuously (to a damaging point) until my car began to smoke. I couldnt be more disgusted and disappointed then I was with this treatment. It was a complete violation. Honda has forever lost my business due to this untrustworthy sales manager.

Go Honda doesnt keep their words and try to find ways to rip buyers off. Me and my husband went to go Honda to see & compare the trade value of our car Hyundai offered us. The people that assist us took the vin # of our vehicle and take a look but didnt tell us the trade value of our car as they said theyll the information to diffent department and evaluate it. The sales person that assisted us show us a car and we felt in love with it. Me and my husband decided to buy it. The salesman took my informations. We asked how much the price of the car and asked how much will be our bi-weekly payments into it. I hate the way they make the calculation as the financing manager and the salesperson has to walk away in private to talk about how much it would cost us. They did it 4 times. We agreed on a deal and they ask us to make a deposit and ask us to make a deposit and made sign a blank paper. I later realized that The blank paper was a bill of sale. Because I have to go to work that day And dont want to be late I just signed it without reading. We are also stupid that we made a deposit right away to hold on the deal. But they promise theyll return it after we get the car. They said They will call me to inform me if I am approved for financing and the trade value of my car. They call after 2 days but unfortunately I was at work. We were surprise when The salesman sent me a picture of the bill of sale indicating that the deal we agreed on include the trade in of our vehicle. I informed the salesperson that we are going to the dealership. We went in the dealership to make clarification but a different salesperson and financial manager showed up and made us wait for over an hour. When they finally showed up they insisted that the deal we agreed on included the trade in of our vehicle as it is on paper. We didnt say we are trading our car We only wanted to know the trade value which they didnt when we made the deal they dont know yet because other department evaluates trade in. I realized that the blank paper the salesman asked me to sign is a bill of sale. We said that were not trading our car. So the salesman and different financing employee made another calculation without the trade in and came up to be the initial offer they offered us when we first went in. I went to another dealership and quote for the same vehicle without any trade in and the price is way more lower. Because of our experience at go Honda we want to take back our deposit money. The experience is so stressful and they dont keep their words.
