In 2016 my wife wanted a new Cadillac Escalade so we went down to the dealer to look at them. Well she didn’t like the new body style so she started looking for a gently used 2015. She found it at Driving Force on the west side of Edmonton. Now, I do not like the new car purchase experience. Used car salesmen make me pissed off every time I have to buy a new vehicle. It’s about how much they can make on a deal, and as you know, everyone has to make a living, and I respect that. My issue is that once you sign on the dotted line and they get their cash you don’t matter anymore. These guys could care less. Repeat business does not mean anything to them. I wanted to get the wife the NEW Caddy, but she liked the older one. I didn’t want to argue with the missus. She knows what she likes, it’s her decision. I will have the argument later with these used car salesmen when I have a problem with this “used vehicle”. I am man enough to admit when I am wrong. Driving Force Was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! It surprised the heck out of me. So part of the spiel during the sell portion was “If you have any problems, bring this vehicle back to US and we will look after it”. I said to myself, “sure you will”…. Well, a year later my wife had a little problem. She went to the dealer and they said sorry, that’s not covered under warranty! All the regular excuses followed-you didn’t buy from us directly, you are the second owner, that problem is regular wear and tear, we all know the “go away” techniques. My problem was that this vehicle is only 2 years old. So my wife and I went back to Driving Force, my blood was boiling, I was ready to let loose on these guys. At least I can vent on these guys for not standing up to their word, and we can sell this vehicle and get a new vehicle somewhere else and be done with it. So once we explained our situation to our salesman, Kevin Hynes, he said “No problem, we will look after that, remember when I told you guys that if you have any problems to come back and see me and I will make it right”! I was floored, since when did these used car salesmen guy’s start get a conscience and actually remember you as a customer and do the extra that is not expected. These gentlemen made the problem go away. They fixed the problem and went over and above what I expected! Well after this experience I will purchase a vehicle from Driving Force before I ever buy a vehicle again, that includes buying brand new. I have purchased new and used at different dealers around the city over the last 15 years, and I would rather buy from these guys than buy new. Kevin Hynes, Darcy Gillies. Keep up the good work guys. I was unable to reserve a car online then I decided to call them for reservation. On phone they just told me about the per day price. When I went there to pick up the car the lady working there told me that underage fee will applied into rental charges. I asked her why it is not on website or you guys didnt told me when I booked it. I had no options. I had plans so I decided to rent it. I didnt took the insurance(LDW) provided by them because my credit card and personal auto insurance covers it. Their website say minimum age 21yrs. I am 23 and holding class 1 license and using my own insurance, charged for underage fee which is totally senseless. Underage fee should only added if someone taking a insurance(LDW) or holding a GDL license. At least tell these thing to customers before you booked it, so customer will have option to go somewhere else. I am never going there again

My experience was terrible as I put in 60 dollars worth of gas and there was a quarter left, I thought they will probably charge me another 20 bucks for the remaining quarter which is what would have cost me to fill it up. They charged me an additional 60 dollars for it and upon protest they gave me 20 back but charging 2.75 per litre is absolutely ridiculous. I am never renting from them again. Too expensive and not a good service at all.

Great service! We requested a full size car with winter tires. However, they dont have winter tires for sedans, so they gave us a Subaru Forester AWD instead. Pricing is fair. They have drop off box, so you dont need to come back the next morning.

Just bough a truck from Ken at the Driving Force. Best place to buy a vehicle. No pressure and they dont harass you. This dealer is way better than the south side Driving Force. Ken and the west side Driving Force have a client for life with me.
