Unfortunately I have had a bad experience with Crosstown Auto. Back in 2013 I purchased a Ram sport and initially had a great experience with the dealership. Trevor, my sales advisor was incredible, he was honest with me, didnt try to squeeze in any "hidden fees" and I felt like I received a good deal. (Trevor is now at Northstar Hyundai, if anyone is interested, he was great!) About a year after having my truck there was an electrical issue that was covered by warranty, Crosstown Auto was again very helpful. I had to leave my truck there for 4 days, they put me in a demo vehicle and even filled my tank and gave me a gas voucher. My bad experience came from my second vehicle purchase. I went back to Crosstown Auto in 2015 and purchased my second vehicle, a Dodge Dart. Trevor was no longer working there, so I went to another sales advisor, everything "seemed" good. I bought a car that was used as a demo, it had 1200 KM on it, and was smoked in by one of the sales managers, we agreed that because of this issue, they would take $1500 off the total cost of the car. That did not happen, they checked the car off as "new" and wrote that it had 112 KM on it. I was also promised a $500 referral bonus, they told me that they had cut me a cheque and I should receive it in 7-10 business days. I waited for the cheque to come and it never did, I called the dealership and was again told, "it was in the mail". After waiting over a month, I reached out to them again and they said I wouldnt be getting my referral bonus, which would have been perfectly fine if I wasnt lied to in the first place, instead, they told me multiple times that "it was in the mail" which was complete bull****! My most recent issue happened when I took my car in because of a faulty battery issue, I was unable to shut off my car without needing a boost to start it again, this was all covered under warranty. I took it in Tuesday morning, assuming that I would be able to get a loaner vehicle considering that I paid for the extended warranty on my car, this was not the case, the best they could offer me was a shuttle service home unless I decided to trade in my car that day, then they would provide me with a loaner vehicle no problem. (Really great that they will do whatever they can to just sell another vehicle, but not maintain good relations with current customers, especially when the issue with the car was a manufacturer issue) Which I find to be completely ridiculous, I have dealt with Sherwood dodge and Go Auto and both dealerships always provided me with a loaner. So, 7 days later (without a vehicle, and a child that needed to get to school) my car is finally ready to pick up, a simple battery replacement somehow took them 7 days to complete. When I get into my car, I notice that my gas light is on, my gas was at 1/4 of a tank when I brought it in. They didnt give me a gas voucher or even topped up my gas, which I understand isnt required but I did expect it to be curtesy. So after spending a total of $90,000 at Crosstown Auto, they didnt even have the common curtesy to give me my $500 referral bonus, or even a simple gas voucher to make up for the gas that THEY used. I have realized that they really only care about making that initial sale, once youre out the door and they have your money, they treat you like s**t, dont expect anything from these guys. They should be focusing on maintaining customer service so they can get repeat customers, as I would have been again. I am looking to trade in my car within the next couple months and I definitely will not be back to Crosstown Auto. I highly recommend ANY other dealership!!

While I was in town I figured I would bring my 2015 3500 Diesel in their quick lube bay for a service before I head back to Fort McMurray. At the time, service was great. Polite, welcoming...blah, blah, blah,...I then went back to Fort McMurray for my days on at work, after which I was headed back to Edmonton again for my days off and I decided to perform a walk around on my truck. I checked my oil and it wasnt even registering on the dip stick. I put 2.5ltr in and still wasnt registering. I had to put 6.4ltrs before It got to the full mark. I was furious. $500.00 service and they didnt double check the oil level. My ENG light didnt come on either. So, all I had available at the time was 15w-40 Rotella Engine oil. Then off I went to Edmonton. I decided to pay Service at Crosstown a visit to tell them my findings. This is when it gets really interesting.. I went into the service bay, which the girl there was very nice yet again. She checked to see if the service manager was free, to have me talk to him. She came back, and brought me to his office, where he didnt even get out of his seat, didnt reach over for a hand shake or even ask my name. Just asked "What seems to be your probem?" I told him my story as said above and he said "Impossible, thats not true." I insisted that It was. He pretty much in a round about way called me a liar. Which I think is funny because of what happened next. I proceeded to get my phone out to show him a few pictures.. While he cut me off and said" How about you bring your truck in and well hook it up to the computer and the diagnostic equipment next week...itll tell us how low of oil you were" He had no idea I was a Cummins ISB, ISX, ISC trained Truck Transport Mechanic. What he just said Is not true....by all means, if the ENG has low or erratic oil pressure of course the ECM will Log the fault code.. But inform you on how much oil your engine is currently holding at any given time and if it went low......no. no sir that is not true. I said " I see.....I just want my oil changed". We argued about that for a little while until he finally huffed and puffed and said fine... Little did he know is while they were changing my oil I went to the General Manager and informed him of how poorly his Service Manger did at addressing a problem, respecting my Vehicle, and staying true to a customer. ( He also added that the service manager was in on his day off) which you know what. I could care less if youre in on your day off. You could have asked someone else that could better deal with my issue assist me. Its too bad they didnt even attempt to make it right after I had informed them. The GM just said. Yup youre right. Ill be sure to talk to him. I wonder if he really did... Best of luck Crosstown, if more customers receive service like that...you wont have many left.

NEGATIVE STARS REQUIRED FOR THIS DEALERSHIP OPERATING WITH ZERO ETHICS. FINANCE TEAM IS OUT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH NO CARE FOR YOU AT ALL. NO RESPECT FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN. My mother and I went in to look at a 2017 Pacifica with intentions of purchase at some point but we were not looking to rush through this, unfortunately my two daughters who are 2 and 9 months were with us. This was great for them as a distraction to get in a quick sale. Tyler Portman our salesman was helpful and great customer service, the finance team does not even know the definition of customer service. They make it very clear that they only care about themselves and getting your money. While going through our finances with Marco from the finance team he made many mistakes with numbers went off to the other office to fiddle around with another finance member then came back, still had mistakes as he tried to call them even though they were just taking advantage of my mother and I with the two kids who had been there for three hours so was time to leave. I had to rush out to go feed my children, did they care no, just rushed said oh just five more minutes constantly for THREE HOURS. Also multiple unauthorized credit checks were made and they lied to our face about it even though credit business notified they had done so again. Credit Score has been dropped drastically due to this. We had put down money for the extended warranty and the protection package, would not give it back to us even though we did not drive the van off the lot nor made the DOWN PAYMENT as they claimed that we did so they are no holding $4000 of our money saying they get to keep it because of it being a down payment which is a LIE. Absolutely disgusting bunch of individuals running this place, made my purchase journey of a van a NIGHTMARE! Gladly went to St. Albert Dodge the Friendly and Transparent Dealership who wants you to take your time and not take advantage of two women with children! Makes me sick to think of how many people they do this to, as I can see from other reviews this is not an ethical dealership at all.
