BUDGET to the Rescue!!.. Our daily driver (SUV) went into the shop yesterday.... My Insurance uses two "Other" rentals, who DONT deserve mention here but, one sounds like the renowned fictional TV "flag star-ship" and the other one will, "DIS" you at the "count-er"... seriously..i booked the pick-up on Sat for Mon at 2:00... ahhhh we dont have any vehicles here for you, but we can deliver one to you later today "maybe" in 4 hours??? WHATT....No. Maybe you can try the "Star-ship" people??? Are you kidding, you want me to go to the competitors?? Does your boss know you tell people that? ( I did call "Ashleys" operations manager at Discount (oops, my bad) and he wasnt too impressed she was doing that either.. without even "trying" to find me a vehicle at another "dis"- location) ......Soooo, down the street to BUDGET, met "Trevor".. he said he could have a vehicle onsite for me in an hour.. BONUS, it will be an SUV.. (note: the "others" told me SUVs r not usually available, Ha!!) I go back to BUDGET at 3:45 and voila!! Trevor has got me a 2017 FORD Edge..!!! NO Hassles, NO Excuses, NO Attitude, NO Problem.... ...I will choose "BUDGET" in the future, YOU should too, they "DELIVERED" it all... Thank-you Trevor for saving my day from DIS-appointment.!! :))

My advice is to check your odometer with your rentals, take a photo thats dated and timed. Ended up paying over $400 extra for a rental because I had no physical proof that I hadnt travelled 2400 kms to go from my home to Swift Current and back, with two side trips totalling no more than 150 kms (and thats being generous on my part). What should have been, perhaps 200 kms over my allowed (1400), I somehow ended up over 1400 + kms over. Its 703 from my driveway to there. But ... stupid me trusted that the staff knew HOW to read an odometer. Never again. Ill use Enterprise from now on.

We booked months in advance to reserve a mini van and we called a day prior to confirm we still have the mini van booked for the next day. Avis car rental said yes its ready for us. When we got there to pick it up they had no mini vans for us. I had to wait for an hour and a half after the scheduled pick up time to get anything. Ended up getting a Ford flex which wasnt enough space so we left some stuff behind. I was there past their closing time and while I was waiting for the flex they turned the lights off on me. So I sat in the dark.

I used them to rent a car back in July for 4 days. Though I booked the car online and already paid for it. When I was there to pick it up, I asked them if I can upgrade to a pickup. They were very helpful and upgraded from a economy car to a pickup. The process was easy and within less than 15 mins I got a 2016 full option F-150 pickup. I will sure use them again when visiting Edmonton.

Rep has given outstanding customer service. I had to rent car for 1 day to cross border. She allowed me to pick which vehicle I want, price was decent. I have been coming here for long time, she delivered excellent customer every single time for last 13 years.

Budget rental had amazing service and the staff were understanding. They rescued us after Uhaul had screwed us over by canceling our moving truck reservation on us without notice. Thank-you Budget for saving moving day. We will be using you again.

What a RIPOFF this place is. they will charge your credit card with scruplous charges and when you call to find out what the charges are for, you will be put on hold forever and nobody will get back to you. STAY AWAY!
