I purchased a vehicle from Alberta Truck and Auto. Pricing is their strong point but dont expect to negotiate more than $500 off the price of a vehicle. Their inventory is as follows. 75% lease or daily rental returns. There are some great deals but keep an eye on the mileage. The other 25% of their inventory is auction buys or other cars theyve picked up. There are a few pieces of junk on the lot, but compared to other used dealers, it is minimal. Sales pressure is non existent except for insistence on a deposit and sneaking in the small Amvic fee to the final price. If you need financing, Sean is not your guy as he doesnt have the connections in the industry, so either have your financing in place, pay cash, or have excellent credit. The building is run down and the sales people are cramped into one room. As a customer, there is no privacy to negotiate and every sales person and the manager will know your business as theyre all within earshot. They tend to work as a group, so if a customer has concerns, theyll gang up together on the customer in a "polite" but effective way. Follow up service is non existent. Once you drive off the lot youll never hear from them again. This can be a good thing as youre not hounded to buy from them again. Overall, they are one of the better used dealers in town but DONT leave a deposit as their contract still allows them to sell the car out from under you. Sean (the manager/owner) wont have any problem telling you to stuff it and keep your deposit if you dont follow through on the deal. Out of 10, Id give them a 6.5, which for Edmonton used car dealers is about as good as it gets.

Love this auto dealership. If you are looking for a high cost shiny new building, this is not the place. The savings of those high priced facilities are in the auto prices. We purchased a Mustang convertible a couple of years ago and no one could come close to the price we paid. The service was fantastic. Love the low key, non commissioned salespeople. They were quick to deal with any issues we had arise. This year went back and purchased a very low mileage Ford Taurus ... like brand new... but for thousands off what a new one was priced out at. Again, no dealer was able to come even remotely close to the price we paid. Will definitely go back there and highly recommend.

Definitely some of the best prices in town. The sales approach is good, they know their prices are low and there is no typical sales bs. There is little negotiation on price but its pretty evident that they are substantiality lower than competitors so youll feel good with your purchase anyway. My only suggestion is do your research on the vehicle you want, these guys are very nice guys but you dont get the full expertise on each individual vehicle just because they move so many brands. I would highly recommend checking out what they have on lot if you are looking for a good deal, all their cars came with free Carproofs.

Great bunch of guys and a great price on a vehicle! Ron, Steve, Doug and Jeremy were all very helpful and knowledgeable, including about the vehicle interested in. No pressure and comfortable environment with vehicles inspected and sales expected to walk through vehicles history and condition. I know where I am going for my next purchase as well; instead of wasting any time with jackals at a dealership or goauto staff who want all your information and an appointment before even discussing a price. Thanks again guys, I am already very happy with the vehicle and the price!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Wasted my time, had me call every day only to be told to call the next day. 9 days later I show up told its ready to go and it wasnt. The mechanic said the tires were fine and they were finished in the front. Sean the shop manager was rude and someone I recommend you avoid! Dont show vehicles that arent ready and waste peoples times. And dont have Sean talk to customers if hes going to be rude and arrogant. I am taking my business elsewhere!

I had a great buying experience with the Alberta Truck and Auto team. I purchased a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta for a price that was unmatchable. Alex was a great salesman. He was knowledgeable, honest, and very friendly during the sales process. Also Sean, the general manager, was very easy to make a deal with. We felt comfortable during the sales process as compared to other dealers who are pushy. All in all, I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle through these guys.

Not the greatest experience. Drove 5 hours to have a look at a 2006 corvette. When I arrived the car was dirty inside and out (they had a week to prep it). The salesman didnt do any homework on that type of vehicle (again, a week to prepare). Anyway, I assumed I was going to be offered to test drive it but they wanted some kind of assurance that I was serious about the car and they didnt offer. I JUST DROVE 5 HOURS TO SEE IT. NOT ENOUGH ASSURANCE??????

This has been the best experience in purchasing a vehicle. There was NO pressure, NO salesperson tracing our steps, No pretentious atmosphere. Just good service - people ready to speak and answer questions for us. Not only did get a great vehicle, but, my friend and someone I barely know, also purchased vehicles here. Best bunch of people in the business!!!!!!!

I had a great, straight-forward purchasing experience. I bought a 2008 Ford Focus SE and I did enough research to know I got a great price. A couple weeks after I bought it, the tire air warning light came on twice, about a week apart. I called the guys and they had me in the next morning and fixed it, no questions asked. Would definitely buy from again.

Took 3 buses to look at a vehicle I really liked just to hear that people from my ethnicity were not welcome there. Sales person was very racist and told straight away that people from my and other (he named few) ethnicity always look for negotiation that is not their culture indirectly told me not to come back. I will not.

Think twice before buying from them, double and triple check in the cars specs because they provide incomplete and misleading information in data. Plus the DO NOT REFUND DEPOSITS. we filled a complain with AMVIC to take back our deposit after discovering that they provided incomplete info on the car we paid a deposit for.

Great place to buy a used vehicle, Claudio is friendly and helpful. But the best is Allen in Service, he took care of some warranty issues quickly and professionally. Allen got us a new Jack and gave us a roadside emergency kit. I recommend this place for their awesome service.
