Dont seem to want the business. I went to Discount Car a little while ago as I wanted to rent a truck to help my nephew move. After opening the door at the entrance the Discount Car employee just looked at me and continued what they were originally doing which was selling what seemed to be Avon cosmetics to another person. When I told the employee that I came here to rent a truck , I was told to wait while this person continued selling cosmetics. After waiting for abit I decided to leave. If it were not for the uniform I thought I came to the wrong business. My daughters car recently got into a fender bender I hope the insurance company will not insist that she deal with this company should she need a replacement vehicle. Ill take my business elsewhere in the future.

Ok.... so after being in an accident we didnt know what to do.. Melissa from discount car rental Medicine Hat took everything on her shoulders and did absolutely everything!!! From getting us set up in a great vehicle and dealing with our insurance company so we didnt have to, just making life easier. She also looked after my corporate needs a second time... always making things easy.. Great Job Melissa!! Highly recommend her for all your rental needs!!

They made life extremely easy when I had my accident, put me in a brand new clean and well kept truck when mine was in the shop. They took care of everything, were very courteous and friendly. I travel a lot so I rent a lot, this has been by far one of the better rental places Ive been to.

On the television it always advertises unlimited kilometres and low daily rental rates. I called the local branch for a vehicle and I was given completely different information. There are no unlimited kilometres and the daily rates are significantly higher than what is advertised.
