Found an ad in kijiji from this dealership and liked what I saw. After speaking with the salesman, Justin, I made an offer without seeing the truck. They took my trade-in without seeing it also. My initial thought/feeling was good towards this transaction. All went well as I didnt even have to drive to Drayton Valley since Justin met me in Red Deer. Took a quick look at the truck and all seemed really good. When I got home, I remembered that the truck had a backup camera so I went to check it, forgot it had one when signing the papers in Red Deer (might of been from excitement). Long story short, the truck didnt have one which Justin confirmed to me on the phone that it was his mistake for advertising it. He reassured me that they would look after me. I got quotes for after market cameras as well as the actual camera that was supposed to be there and it ranged from $600-$1100. When I spoke to Justin, I told him I would settle for $500 cash which was the initial deposit. He said he had to talk to his manager Len. Long story short, Len had no intentions of giving me anything back. He wrote a short email saying they would not partake in buying me a camera. I called and emailed back to speak to him but no reply or call back. I submitted a complaint thru BBB and AMVIC which resulted in me getting back $350 which is better than nothing. I would not suggest this dealership with their current management.

Intended on buying a used car from the dealership providing it was collision and claim-free. The sales person spoke to me over the phone and assured me that the vehicle was in "mint" condition and that it was collision and claim-free. Trusting this information, I came in for a test drive and put a deposit on the car assuming that she was being truthful. This was not the case after I insisted that she produce the carproof report and review the history in detail. The car had around $20,000 worth of previous damage that was repaired, and the sales person then tried to reassure me that these cases always look worse than they really are. They also rushed me in coming up with the rest of the money to pay for the balance of the vehicle. The dealership has agreed to provide me a refund of the deposit but I have yet to receive this on my credit card statement. I do not recommend dealing with this dealership at all. Intentionally or unintentionally, is not acceptable to not get your facts straight when informing customers about the history of a vehicle. If there is any uncertainty, the sales person should not be pushing the sale until these facts can be said without a doubt.

Worst shopping experience EVER. Dishonest dealings regarding pricing. I was quoted a great price on a new vehicle, being a loyal toyota customer for over 15 years i decided it was time for a new one. I was quoted the lowest price at drayton valley toyota, they beat the price of 5 other dealers, i was excited. Only to realize that there was a magical pricing fairy that added on a whole bunch of "extra" fees i was not told about. $399 aquisition fee? what is that? $499 for nitrogen in my tires? are you serious, this is a real service provided by many shops, however at a tyipcal cost of $17 per tire not $499 $1500 for a cold weather package? let me guess if i want the steering wheel that toyota supplies with the vehicle that is extra also? After such disgust after driving 4 hours to save a few thousand dollars after being quoted a price, i found a dealer locally that was able to give me a great price a great car and no magical fees. If you want a great price with no hidden fees this is not the dealer you should try.

I drove from Calgary to Drayton in order to purchase a 10 4Runner. Staff was pleasant to deal with. Cant argue much with Toyota quality. The gripe I would have is that the Sales Manager that I corresponded with via phone and email provided me an inaccurate assessment of the condition of the vehicle. After being told that the vehicle was in perfect condition aside from a couple of stone chips, I was disappointed to find that the bumper cover had a small crack near the grill. I proceeded to complete the deal despite the fact that the sales manager I had interacted with was not present at that time. I had gone to the trouble of bringing a second driver along and was basically committed to following through with the transaction. Upon contacting him once back in Calgary to explain my disappointment, he initially sounded as though he intended to help me resolve this. My emails from that point onward went unanswered.

Service wasnt terrible but the salesperson I dealt with was not very good at following up. The finance person I dealt with was much better but I still had to make most follow ups myself. Over a week had gone by and my accepted offer for an 07 Tundra hadnt closed. Since I needed a vehicle I contacted another dealer and had an 09 pickup within 72 hours, from initial phone call to having the keys in my hand. The dealer I purchased through didnt have the $399 or $499 documentation fee either, which was a bonus. Not a terrible experience but I was left very confused at their lack of response. Perhaps they were busy, but thats no excuse to not reply to an email or voice mail when you have someones business in the bag. At least they werent pushy, and the salesperson seemed to be up front about their vehicles. Maybe your experience will be better.

Worse dealership I have ever dealt with. Bought a truck from them a few years back. No issues there, coming home from work my wife went wide on our driveway and into the ditch. After getting it out, noticed issues. Took it in and they quoted me almost 4000 grand to fix. I laughed at them. I thought it was April fools. They said it needed this and that and werent even going to let me leave because the truck was not drivable in their eyes. I refused and they charged me 300 diagnosis fee. My neighbor came over, had look and laughed. He went to Napa got parts for less than 400 and we did it together in 3 hours. I couldnt believe it. This dealership in garbage!

I was recently interested in buying a vehicle and finding out what the cost would be. Shanese was so helpful in every way possible in making sure I was getting the best price with the perfect vehicle for myself. Although Im going to hold off on purchasing a vehicle for now I will definitely be coming to see her in the next few years as her personality, knowledge and smile will bring me back. I highly recommend drayton valley Toyota for anyone purchasing a vehicle, they really care that you have all the necessary requirements you are looking for in a car while giving you their best price possible!

My wife and I were looking to buy a new vehicle...we received four quotes from different dealers, but the best price we got was in Drayton Valley. The people we dealt with were knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions and made it a good experience for my wife and I. Thank you Drayton Valley Toyota and special thanks to Lori Sullivan and Carolyn Charron. Lori was a wealth of information for pointing out different options that were available on this vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. Sincerely David and Jean Bennett
