If you are a concierge considering using Alpine for your customers, or an end user hiring Alpine for your transportation needs, please think twice. Ill begin with the good: their driver was courteous, and the stretch Excursion we rode in was very nice. Now for the bad: they brought the wrong vehicle with insufficient capacity, kept us waiting for over an hour, charged us for the wrong vehicle and the hour they were late, and were completely inflexible in working with us to resolve these issues. This began when our hotel concierge called them and asked for a quote for 10 people; we were standing right there and heard the phone call, so we know the concierge conveyed the request correctly. He heard Alpine say $720 and repeated it to us while Alpine was still on the phone. Great! We confirmed the trip. When Alpine arrived, they brought a passenger van that could only seat 9 and would not allow us to seat the 10th. They tried to blame it on the concierge and said they must have given an incorrect number: impossible since we were standing right there for the call. Alpine said it would be 40 minutes to get a 10-pax vehicle out, so we sat in the bar. One hour and a bar-tab later, they showed up with a stretch Excursion that could accommodate our entire party. We were happy with this and thought the upgrade was their way of saying "sorry!" for having messed up our afternoon trip. We let the driver know that since the departure was now an hour late, we would need the pickup an hour later as well. He was perfectly understanding and said it would be no problem. Everything with the ride was great and he picked us up for the return at our agreed upon time. The credit card slip was where things went south. Instead of the $720 that they quoted the concierge, they tried to charge us $1,020, which included both a higher fare for the excursion, as well as a charge for the extra hour! We reminded them of the situation - the fact that the extra hour was THEIR fault and that the excursion was THEIR selection, not ours - but they refused to budge on this. They charged us the $720 on the spot and said theyd discuss it with the hotel concierge; the next morning an invoice for the full $1,020 was slipped under our door. I have no problem with a company making a mistake; it happens. And this review would be glowing with 5-stars if, as Id originally thought, the stretch Excursion was their way of apologizing for their mistake. But they are sticking to their guns, trying to blame it all on the concierge, and sticking it to the customer, which is ridiculous. Steer clear!

In the 9 years that I lived in Banff, I never once heard of this company and knew nothing of them until this morning, at 11:45 while attempting to find a parking at Moraine Lake. The way in which I was introduced to this company was less than impressive. If youve visited Moraine Lake you know parking can be a hassle, which it was for us today on a busy Saturday. While waiting for a car ahead of us to pack up and back out, we were suddenly bombarded by honking and a woman screaming while gesturing out her window erratically. "Be more courteous and MOVE" she shouted, demanding that we "pull over and get out of the way immediately." She then finished her tirade with "YOU MUST BE IMMIGRANTS!!!" then tore off toward the hotel. At this point we were so enraged that such racism had been hurled at us, (and were white Canadians, born and raised, not that that matters in the slightest) and we followed this woman up to the hotel, noticing the COMPANY WEBSITE written across the back of her SUV. People with such beliefs should not be working in customer service in an international tourist town!

Grossly overpriced. I was under the impression that I was booking a stretch SUV for $300 to get from canmore to Banff, (which is a $55 cab ride) and it was just a plain ford expidition. What a let down for my best friends stagette party, and what a waste of money. Also the pick up time was set for 10pm and I phoned the dispatch person to see if we could get picked up sooner and she said she would call the driver to see where he was at and call me back. We waited an hour and got sick of waiting so got a cab back to our hotel. I called to ask for my money back and they wont reimburse me because it was my fault for not just going to the meet up location and seeing if the driver was there instead of waiting inside out of the cold waiting for a call back that never came. So now I have to pay for a $300 ride I didnt receive.

Im a wedding photographer and my couple had hired Alpine for their transportation for photos. Andy was such an amazing chauffeur.... so friendly, helpful and funny..... he added such a great experience to their big day and made my job easier too by holding my flash, helping me with my bag and even fluffing the brides veil for me. I would HIGHLY recommend him to any of my couples Thank you so much Andy!!!
